Integrated Wireless Technologies Our History

In the 1970’s a leading technology company specializing in 2-way radio was looking to create a network of servicing dealers across our United States. Several Long Island companies of the time were respected authorities in their own right. Eastern Long Island Electronics, Ed’s Communications, and Norcom Communications where some of these companies. Through mergers and acquisitions over the years, these companies as well as Bay Village Communications, Price’s Radio, and Allcom Communications became what is known today as Integrated Wireless Technologies. The Company is owned and operated by two partners, Douglas Nopper and William Scheibel.

In 2018, IWT was awarded the coveted Empower Circle Award for 2017 by Motorola Solutions. Motorola Solutions describes the acknowledgment as, “Our most prestigious partner accolade, this event rewards your results in planning, focusing and delivering success in a highly competitive marketplace.”

More than an award, for IWT, it is the culmination of our pledge to our customers to provide an outstanding service and sales experience. We strive for excellence in everything we do, and this award acknowledges those efforts.

Integrated Wireless Technologies Designated a Motorola Service Elite Specialist by Industry Leader Motorola Solutions

In 2019, IWT received designation by Motorola Solutions as a Motorola Service Elite Specialist. This recognition is based on our ability to sell, design, deploy, support, and service the highest tiers of Motorola products and solutions. The designation, which is reviewed each calendar year, will be used when IWT acts as a Motorola subcontractor performing maintenance, installation, and warranty services for certain Motorola two-way radios such as P25 and MOTOTRBO, MCC Series and Avtec consoles, and subscriber units.

Receiving this designation means that IWT meets Motorola’s high level of service requirements including accreditation as a Certified Service Center and compliance with Motorola’s internal Environmental Health and Safety policy. Motorola requires a minimum number of our technicians achieve specific certification and meet rigorous training requirements necessary to perform certain services on both new and existing Motorola radio systems.

Our Holbrook and Quogue locations are authorized to perform warranty repair services.
